Welcome to Western Aviatrix!


We are proud to be a chapter of Women in Aviation International (WAI), a global organization dedicated to empowering and advancing women in all aviation and aerospace careers. Our mission is to connect students who share a passion for aviation by fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive community.

Western Aviatrix provides members with opportunities to learn from and connect with industry professionals, attend sponsored events, and gain access to resources that help them succeed in their aviation journey. We support and connect like-minded individuals, offering meaningful ways to get involved, build experience, and open doors to future career opportunities.

With fewer than 20% of aviation professionals identifying as women, we are committed to helping change the face of aviation for the next generation.

The Western Association of Role Players is a vibrant community with a goal of encouraging the enjoyment of tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs). We have a wide variety of events to help folks find games to join, to learn more about TTRPGs, and to foster community. Our year starts with Introcon, in which GM’s will pitch their games, and you get to chat with them and pick a game you’d like to join. Or you can be the one to pitch your game and gather players! After that, we host a number of one-shot conventions, where we gather to play themed one-shots that our members have put together, as well as workshops, and other miscellaneous conventions. In December, we’re holding a chill hangout night to watch movies, play board games, paint, and vibe. And in February, we’re hosting a marketplace for all our creatives to sell their work, workshops, or commissions! And let’s not forget the WARPshops! Join us every other week for an evening workshop where we discuss various aspects of TTRPGs to improve our storytelling skills. So join us! Whether you’re a Table Top veteran or completely new to the hobby, we’re the perfect club to get you going. We look forward to rolling some dice with you this year, gamers!

The Western Esports & Gaming Association is a community for students on campus who enjoy playing video games, and who like to meet and socialize with other gamers. WEGA runs a wide variety of events throughout the year – tournaments and other competitions for those who love to compete, more casual gaming nights to make connections and enjoy games together, as well as more casual social events to build a community.WEGA also helps to run a number of esports teams across a wide variety of titles. If you’re interested in playing your game at the highest level, we’d love to help connect you with other students looking to do the same.
