Western Knit and Crochet is a community of like-minded yarn enthusiasts. This is a place for knitters and crocheters of all skill levels to unite under a shared passion! WKCC is an inclusive space for students interested in knitting and crocheting to form friendships and de-stress by creating anything from stuffed animals to bags and blankets.
The club invites everyone, provides all resources, and is a great way to get involved in the school and local community. Look forward to weekly meetings, seasonal events, and volunteer opportunities!

Lights, camera, action! Directed by Western is a club for student filmmakers run by student filmmakers. As Western’s only filmmaking club we aim to create short films and monthly film-related zines, while working to uplift diverse voices. Our goal is to build a community of aspiring filmmakers and students interested in film. All levels of experience are welcome. We run events such as cinematography workshops, zine launch parties and an annual student film festival. If you love making movies or talking about movies, this is the place for you!

Penned by Western (Penned) is a creative writing club at Western University that welcomes all writers in every part of their journey. We believe that everyone has a story that deserves to be told and our goal is to make the warmest, most welcoming environment to help you to discover, create, and grow in your writing. Penned hosts weekly events, which include workshops, sharing sessions, and socials. Our workshops are designed for both new and experienced writers. They feature an introduction of the topic of the week, literary techniques, writing prompts, time to share, and the chance to receive feedback on your work.
