Western Youth Connect (WYC) is a student-led club dedicated to protecting and promoting children’s rights, both globally and locally within London. We work to raise awareness in our community and support our local charity partners through fundraising and volunteer initiatives. Members have the opportunity to get involved in weekly volunteer activities with organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and Ronald McDonald House. Alongside our advocacy and service efforts, we aim to build a fun and supportive community on campus by hosting events like bar nights, karaoke, and other socials, all while raising funds to support children in need.

Western CFC strives to achieve the goals of the not-for-profit registered charity Crafting for a Cure by facilitating unique volunteer opportunities for students. Through arts and crafts, as well as other creative activities, volunteers will get the chance to interact with children in hospitals and health organizations around London. Western CFC allows students to engage themselves and the creative minds of kids while giving back to the greater London community. Volunteering will combine the creativity and caring nature of Western students with interacting with children to create an enjoyable and memorable time for both! Envelope for Joy is a charity-based club that supports both global and community initiatives through a penpal program to international students and letter-writing to London community members. By providing support to schools worldwide and community members in London neighbourhoods, becoming part of the Envelope for Joy family will help you make YOUR positive impact in the world!

Habitat for Humanity Western is a student-led chapter of Habitat for Humanity Canada dedicated to building stronger, more sustainable communities. Western for the Elderly is dedicated to connecting Western students with London’s community of older adults through volunteering initiatives and events in local long-term care homes. Our goal is to celebrate both the energy of students and the wisdom of older adults by forming meaningful intergenerational friendships. Through our events, students can share hobbies, exchange perspectives, and make a lasting positive impact in London’s community of older adults, all while gaining valuable hands-on experience in our many affiliate homes.
