Black Students’ Association

About us:

The Black Students’ Association (BSA) is a socio-political organization dedicated to supporting Black students at Western and the affiliate colleges, as well as the Black community in London. Since its inception in 1993, the BSA has been dedicated to creating a safe space on campus for Black students to connect with one another and build lasting relationships. The BSA organizes a variety of engaging events throughout the school year including its Fashion Show, SOUL (an annual gala that celebrates the talents and accomplishments of Black students on campus), Black Grad (highlighting the academic and professional accomplishments of graduating Black students), and countless other events focusing on fundraising for non-profit, professional development for Black students and discussion of social issues within the Black community.
