ALS Western welcomes you to the 2022-23 school year with Western’s Club Week! We invite you to join us in forming a positive and family-like community surrounding ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). We are dedicated to raising awareness and increasing engagement in the local and national ALS Community. In the past, we’ve done so by hosting a variety of events including: – Holiday Gift Basket Event for local patients – Walk to End ALS with ALS Canada – Panel events hosting Western’s very own professors in the medical space – Social Events to interact and create bonds with fellow students interested in the space – & More! Clubs Week will be in-person & hosted from September 19th to 23rd in the UCC Mustangs Lounge and the UCC Atrium. Come see us to learn more about us and our plans for this year! We will be hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, September 28th from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST. In this meeting, we will provide an overview of the club, opportunities to get involved, our planned events for the year, and more!

There are also plenty of Executive Positions up for grabs this coming school year. In 2022-23, we will be offering 8 executive positions that you can apply for: – VP Outreach – Director of Finance (1) – Director of Events (2) – 2nd Year Representative (2) – 1st Year Representative (2) Applications will be due on October 9th at 11:59 pm. Interviews for the positions will take place during the week of October 9th.
