About us:
Welcome to Western Climbing Club (WCC)! The Western Climbing Club is all about building a fun, welcoming community where Western students can discover or grow their passion for climbing. Whether you’re brand new or already an experienced climber, our goal is to make climbing accessible and fun for all. We host weekly climb nights at Junction Climbing Centre, run in-house competitions with awesome prizes, and take members on outdoor and ice climbing trips while teaching safe practices. In addition, members get discounts on belay lessons, gear, and activities. We also keep the energy going off the wall with bar nights, yoga classes, and other fun adventures that bring our community closer together. The club is open to everyone, even if you’ve never climbed before. Newcomers are always welcomed, we’ll help you learn the basics and get started with the fun. See you on the wall!
