About us:
The African Students Association (ASA) is a cultural club dedicated to celebrating and promoting African culture at Western University and throughout the City of London. Our mission is to provide a welcoming “home away from home” for African students new to Canada, supporting them through their transition into life at Western. We also host inclusive social events that invite people of all backgrounds to explore and engage with Africa—its land, its people, and its current events. Our vision is to foster deeper awareness, understanding, and appreciation of African culture, while breaking down social barriers between Africans and non-Africans.
