As one of the biggest healthcare clubs on campus, HOSA Western’s mission is to empower future health professionals. Whether you’re dreaming of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, or any other healthcare career, we’re here to help you explore your passions and take real steps toward your goals.As a branch of HOSA Canada, our members join a national network of over 7,000 students who come together each year at the Spring Leadership Conference (SLC), the largest health science student competition in the country. Many of our members also go on to represent Canada on the international stage at the HOSA International Leadership Conference (ILC), competing alongside peers from around the world.Within our HOSA Western chapter, you’ll get access to bi-weekly workshops where we dive into different health specialties & skills to prepare you for competition, research mentors who can guide you through research applications, and advice from students who’ve already made it into medical, dental, and other professional schools. We’re here to share what works, answer your questions, and help you put together a standout application.But HOSA goes beyond simply a club to build your academic and career skills; we’re a family. Our events throughout the year provide the opportunity to make lasting friendships and memories that shape us far beyond the classroom.

Do you have an interest in history?? Maybe you know wayyy too much about Henry VIII or the French Revolution, and your friends are tired of hearing about it? Join the History Society and meet others who love to talk about history just as much as you!! Our club is open to students in all majors from history and classics, to biology and medical sciences. This year we plan on hosting several fun events including our headline event: the History Society Trivia Bowl in March!! We hope to see you soon!

We hope to foster a social community for undergraduate students in DSAS and to help pave the way for a greater academic experience and professional career. ASUA aims to introduce relevant career paths through panel events and networking opportunities, along with various seminars to further enhance the technical skills required for workplace settings. We strive to provide a better undergraduate experience for DSAS students, along with a safe and inclusive community where long-lasting friendships and memories can be made! The UWO Pre-Medical Society encourages interest in the medical profession through academic and social programming as well as by providing community and medically-related volunteer opportunities in London and overseas. The UWO Pre-Medical Society offers information about everything you need to know about preparing for and applying to medical school. Members have access to exclusive information sessions on topics such as information on various medical schools from Ontario, Canada, North-America and around the World, as well as information on writing the MCAT and interview preparation. A close working relationship with students in the Schulich School of Medicine also allows club members to obtain relevant first-hand knowledge on applying to and attending medical school. The Pre-Medical Society also offers its members substantial discounts on MCAT preparation courses through partnerships with Wizeprep.

The Association of International Relations (AIR) is a student organization that provides both IR students and the wider Western community with ways to engage with international relations beyond the classroom. This includes academic engagement through the annual research symposium, career workshops that prepare students from all disciplines for future opportunities, and social activities such as study sessions and outings. Through these initiatives, AIR seeks to promote informed discussion on global politics and diplomacy while supporting the academic, social, and professional development of its members.

The Western Pre-Law Society (WPLS) is a club for students interested in attending law school and a career in Law. WPLS connects you to guest speakers, LSAT and Admissions resources, firm tours and networking events to help members navigate their interest in the legal field.

Women in STEM is an all-inclusive community for all people to explore their interests in STEM. From hosting large networking events such as the Toronto Trip and WeSolve Case Competition annually, to hosting smaller academic or community based events such as the Suture Clinic, Alumni Panel, Puppy Yoga or Coffee and Croissants, Women in STEM has something offered for every individual interested in STEM!
