Canadian Association for Research in Regenerative Medicine (CARRM)

Annual CARRM Symposium:

The Annual CARRM Symposium is a 2-day symposium taking place virtually on Saturday, January 16 from 2:00-3:30pm EST and Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 2:00-3:30pm EST.

Registration is open to ALL STUDENTS and is FREE for ALL MEMBERS (for non-members: $5 early bird registration, $10 regular registration). All attendees will be entered into at least one Raffle for a Gift Card(s).

On January 16th, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with our distinguished guest speakers on the Speaker Panel. This year, CARRM is presenting: Stephanie Protze, Ph.D., Scientist at the McEwen Stem Cell Institute; Nicole Kuchinsky, Ph.D., Business Operations Lead at the Centre for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine (CCRM); and Jeff Blackmer, Ph.D., Executive Vice President for International Health at the Canadian Medical Association. Our Panelists will share their research findings, work experiences, and provide insights on Research, Industry, and Ethics in regenerative medicine.

On January 17th, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops focused on Women in Healthcare, MD Consultants, and Princeton Review (MCAT / DAT workshop).

CARRM February Webinar:

This year, CARRM is inviting Gordon Keller, Ph.D., Senior Scientist at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Director of the McEwen Stem Cell Institute, for a Webinar in late February 2021. Attendees will be able to learn about Dr. Keller’s research experiences and engage in a Q & A with Dr. Keller. More details to come! Updates will be posted on CARRM’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
